Global Abode Pty Ltd is a fully licensed and insured Building Company.
The Company’s formation emanated from recognition of the principal team member’s complementary skills & experience across a wide variety of projects, combined with their common commitment to successful construction and development projects.
The core members of Global Abode, Joshua Nagel and Peter Yarwood, developed into a succesful and award winning construction management team while working for a highly respected second tier commercial building company in Sydney. Together they completed a large and varied range of successful construction projects. Hospital upgrades and medical centres, car dealerships, research centres, waste transfer stations, aircraft hangers and a commercial brewery.
In 2009 Josh and Peter decided to join forces and form Global Abode with a vision of providing a personal and complete project management and construction service to clients using their combined and individual skill sets. In 2011 Global Abode combined forces with long time associate Shane Siladi to launch Global Abode Queensland. This alliance combines solar power installations with energy efficient building construction materials and methods to create a true global effect building company.
In 2014, with the need for expansion, Gary Knep and his team of tradesmen joined the Global Abode family. Gary & Lisa head up the high-end renovation and carpentry division, running a team of highly skilled & qualified builders and carpenters for all our Residential, Commercial, Health and Retail renovations. Allowing in-house design, management & on-hand trade work for a diverse project base.

Nine residential units and three commercial units.
This project has involved retaining the existing facade and some heritage protected features of an old vinegar factory in the front 3rd of the site. The new units are partially in the retained structure and emerge as modern units down the lane way.

A landmark development in the Macleay River delta that involved planning and construction of an eco lodge, Waterfront Aquaculture facilities and land subdivision. Also involves compiling the application in this environmentally sensitive region for state and local authorities and facilitating community consultations and presentations to council.

This project involved the removal of major structural walls in the middle level of the original brick hospital building while supporting occupied floors above (maternity). Patient decanting and working with occupation of the level being modified. (Physio, sleep studies and stem cell relocation).
